Article 54.

1. The arrest consists of holding the convicted person in strict isolation from society for a period of between one and six months. 2. Arrest shall not be granted to persons who have not reached the age of 18 at the time of the court ' s sentencing, nor to pregnant women, and 3. Members of the armed forces are being arrested in the Gauptwacht.
