Article 81. Exemption from punishment due to illness
1. A person who, after the commission of the crime, has suffered from a mental disorder that deprives him of the ability to understand the actual nature and social danger of his or her actions (inactivity) The court may impose coercive measures of a medical nature on such persons. 3. A person who suffers from another serious illness after the commission of the crime, which prevents the execution of a sentence, may be released from serving a sentence by the court. Detention in a disciplinary military unit is exempted from further serving a sentence in the event of illness rendering them unfit for military service. 4. The persons referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 of this article may, if they have recovered, be subject to criminal liability and punishment if the period of time has not expired. and the limitations provided for in articles 78 and 83 of the present Code.
