Article 205.5: Organization of and participation in the activities of a terrorist organization

1. Organization of the activities of an organization which is recognized as a terrorist under the legislation of the Russian Federation is punishable by 15 to 20 l ' imprisonment. with a fine of up to 1 million roubles, or with or without pay or other income of the convicted person for a period of up to five years, and with a restriction of liberty for a period of between one year and one year. 2. Participation in the activities of an organization which is recognized as a terrorist under the law of the Russian Federation shall be punishable by deprivation of liberty. A sentence of 10 to 20 years ' imprisonment with a fine of up to 500,000 roubles, or in the amount of the convicted person ' s salary or other income for a period of up to or without three years. The person who first committed the offence provided for in this article and voluntarily ceased to participate in the activities of an organization which, in accordance with the law of the Russian Federation, If a person is found to be a terrorist, he shall be exempt from criminal liability unless he or she has committed another offence. the organization which is recognized as terrorist under Russian law, at the time or after the person is detained, or at the time or after the commencement of the proceedings in relation to him or her and his/her knowledge of investigative or other proceedings.
