Article 259. Destruction of critical habitats for organisms listed in the Russian Federation Red Book

Destruction of critical habitats for organisms listed in the Russian Federation ' s Red Book, which has caused the death of populations of these organisms, is punishable by a fine of between three hundred thousand and one hundred thousand. Five hundred thousand rubles or the amount of the convicted person ' s salary or other income for a period of two to three years, or compulsory work for up to four hundred and eighty hours, or restriction Freedom for up to three years, or forced labour for up to three years, or deprivation of liberty for the same period.
