Article 70: Sentencing of sentences
1. In imposing punishment on a combination of sentences imposed on the last sentence of the court, part or all of the remaining portion of the sentence imposed on the previous sentence is joined 2. The final penalty imposed on a combination of sentences, if it is less severe than the deprivation of liberty, may not exceed the maximum period or the amount prescribed for this type of sentence. 3. The final penalty for a combination of sentences of deprivation of liberty may not exceed thirty years, except in the cases provided for in part. 4. The final penalty for the combination of sentences should be greater than both the penalty imposed for the newly committed crime and the unexecuted part of the punishment. 5. The addition of additional penalties in the imposition of a cumulative sentence shall be carried out in accordance with the rules laid down in article 4, paragraph 4, of the Criminal Code. 69 of the present Code.
