Article 42: Recognition of a citizen unknown

A citizen may, on the application of the persons concerned, be declared missing by the court if, within one year, there is no indication of his place of residence. The date of receipt of the latest information on the missing start of the calculation period for the absence is the first of the months following the date of receipt of the last report. Information on the missing and, if it is not possible to establish this month, the first January of the following year.
