Article 206. Performance of the obligation upon expiry of the limitation period

1. The debtor or other duty holder who has performed the duty after the expiry of the limitation period shall not be entitled to claim the performance of the performance, even if the person in question did not know that it had expired at the time of performance. 2. If, after the expiration of the limitation period, the debtor or other person under obligation acknowledges his or her debt in writing, the limitation period shall commence again.
