Article 410: Termination of the obligation of set-off

The obligation is terminated by a set-off, in whole or in part, of a uniform counter-claim whose time has elapsed or whose time has not been specified or determined by the time of application. A set-off may be made for a non-conforming claim, which has not expired; a declaration by one party is sufficient to set-off.
