Article 412. set-off in assignment of claim

In the case of an assignment of a claim, the debtor is entitled to set off against the claim of the new creditor its counter-claim against the original creditor. The date of receipt by the debtor of the notification of the assignment of the claim and the time of the claim were due before its receipt, or the time period was not specified or determined by the time of the claim.
