Article 534. Refusal by a public or municipal employer of goods delivered under a State or municipal contract

In the cases provided for by law, the public or municipal employer is entitled to refuse, in whole or in part, goods whose delivery is provided for by the State or municipal authority. In the case of a refusal by a public or municipal employer of goods for which provision is made for delivery by a State or a municipality, the supplier shall be compensated for the loss caused by such refusal. By a municipal contract, the contract for the supply of goods for public or municipal purposes has been terminated or modified, and damages caused to the buyer by such avoidance or modification, compensation are issued by the public or municipal employer.
