Article 609. Form and State registration of the lease

1. A lease agreement for a period of more than one year, and if at least one of the parties to the contract is a legal person, regardless of the duration, must be concluded in writing. 3. A lease agreement providing for the subsequent transfer of ownership of the property to the lessee is subject to State registration, unless otherwise provided by law. (art. 624), consists of the form provided for in the contract for the sale of such property.
