Article 694: Third-party rights to property donated for free of charge

The transfer of an item to free use does not constitute a reason for changing or terminating the rights of third parties to that item. To pre-empt the loanee of all rights of third parties to this item (servity, right of bail, etc.); failure to perform this duty gives the recipient the right to seek termination of the contract and compensation on the basis of: the real damage he suffered.
