Article 793: Liability for breach of obligations of carriage

1. In the event of non-performance or improper performance of obligations of carriage, the parties shall be liable as established by this Code, transport statutes, codes and other laws, and 2. Agreements of transport organizations with passengers and cargo owners to limit or eliminate the carrier ' s legal liability shall be null and void for and to exclude cases where the possibility of such agreements in the carriage of goods is provided for in the transport statutes and codes.
