Article 901. Fundamentals of the guardian ' s responsibility

1. The custodian shall be responsible for the loss, loss or damage of items taken into custody on the grounds provided for in article 401 of the present Code. to retain or damage things unless it proves that the loss, loss or damage was caused by irresistible force, or because of the properties of the things about which the keeper takes custody, 2. For the loss, loss or damage of the goods taken into custody after the obligation to do so was incurred. The keeper only responds if he has the intention or gross negligence to take these things back (art. 899, para. 1).
