Article 1011 Application to agency relations of the rules on contracts of assignment and the commission

The rules of chapter 49, chapter 51, of the present Code apply to relations arising from an agency contract, depending on whether the agent acts in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement. If the rules are not contrary to the provisions of this chapter or to the substance of the agency contract, they shall be provided on behalf of the principal or on their own behalf.
