Article 1188: Application of the law of a country with multiple legal systems

Where the law of a country with more than one legal system is applicable, the legal system determined according to that country ' s law shall apply. In accordance with that country ' s law, which legal systems were to be applied, the legal system with which the relationship was most closely linked was applied.
