Article 1217: Law to be applied to obligations arising from unilateral transactions

Obligations arising from unilateral transactions, unless otherwise clearly derived from the law, the terms or substance of the transaction or from the totality of the circumstances of the case, shall be governed by the law of the country where, at the time of the transaction, it is not possible to establish the contract in question. The place of residence or principal place of activity of a party accepting obligations under a unilateral transaction is the one-sided transaction. 3 g
