Article 1353: State registration of inventions, useful models and industrial designs

The exclusive right to an invention, a useful model or industrial specimen is recognized and protected provided that the relevant invention, useful model or industry is registered by the State. The Federal Intellectual Property Authority grants a patent for an invention, a useful model or an industrial sample.
