Article 1491: Period of validity of the exclusive right to a trademark

1. The exclusive right to a trademark shall be valid for a period of ten years from the date of application for the State registration of a trademark to the federal executive authority on intellectual grounds. 2. The exclusive right to the trademark may be extended for a period of ten years from the date of the initial application. The extension of the exclusive right to a trademark may take an unlimited number of times. The date of the right holder may be given six months after the expiry of the exclusive right to a trademark for the application. The exclusive right to a trademark is entered by the Federal Executive Authority on Intellectual Property into the State Trademark Register and the Trademark Certificate. It’s a sign.
