Article 118: Causing serious harm to health by negligence

Serious injury to health due to negligence — punishable by a fine of up to eighty thousand rubles or up to six months ' wages or other income :: Abstentions for up to four hundred and eighty hours, or correctional labour for up to two years, or restriction of liberty for up to three years, or arrest for up to the neck 2. The same act committed because of the improper performance of a person ' s professional duties is punishable by a restriction of liberty of up to four years or by force. Work for up to one year, with or without deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years, or imprisonment for up to one year 4. Loss of force.
