Article 231. Illegal cultivation of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances or their precursors

1. Illicit cultivation of large-scale plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances or their precursors is punishable by a fine of up to three hundred thousand roubles, or in the amount of the convicted person ' s salary or other income for a period of up to two years, or compulsory work for up to four hundred and eighty hours, or restriction of liberty for up to two years, or 2. The same acts committed by: (a) a group of persons by prior conspiracy or an organized group; (b) have ceased to be in force; (c) in a particularly large amount are punishable In addition, the Committee notes that the State party has not provided any information on the extent to which it has not been able to provide adequate information on the nature and extent of the damage caused by the disease. Psychotropic substances or their precursors shall, for the purposes of this article, be approved by the Government of the Russian Federation.
