Article 1017: Form of the agreement for the custody of property

1. A trust agreement for the custody of property shall be entered into in writing. 2. A trust agreement for the custody of real property shall be entered into in the form provided for before Transfer of immovable property to a trustee is subject to State registration in the same manner as transfer of ownership of the property. 3. Failure to comply with the form of a trust agreement for the custody of property or the requirement to register the transfer of immovable property to a trustee shall render the contract null and void.
