Article 1084: Recovery of injury to the life or health of a citizen in the performance of contractual or other obligations

Damage to the life or health of a citizen in the performance of contractual obligations, as well as in the performance of military service, police service and other related duties is subject to the rules of this chapter if the law or contract does not provide for a higher level of liability.
