Article 1139: Willing order

1. A testator may, in a will, impose on one or more heirs, by will or by law, an obligation to perform any act of a property or non-material nature, a common purpose or another non-law-consensual purpose, including the burial of the testator in accordance with his will (the testator is responsible for the performance of the testator ' s duties). The same duty may be imposed on the debtor of the will, provided that a portion of the estate is made available in the will for the performance of the testator’s will. 2. To the testator, the testator was obliged to maintain the testator ' s household animals and to provide the necessary supervision and care for them. 3. The rules of articles 11 to 38 of the present Code shall apply accordingly to the persons concerned, the person who wills and any person who wills to do so. Days may require the performance of the will by a court order, unless the will otherwise provides.
