Article 1318. The duration of the exclusive right to exercise, the transfer of the right to inheritance and the transfer of the exercise to the public domain

1. The exclusive right to perform is valid throughout the life of the performer, but not less than 50 years, counting as from 1 January following the year in which the performing artist or conductor Performance, either recording of performance, reporting of performance on air or cable, or reporting of performance to the public. I’ve been performing for the rest of my life as director, but not less than 50 years, counting from 1 January following the year in which the first public performance of the post took place. 2. If the perpetrator has been repressed and posthumously rehabilitated, the exclusive right shall be considered as extended and shall be calculated from 1 Jan for 50 years. 3. If the perpetrator worked or participated in the Great Patriotic War, the duration of the exclusive right established by paragraph 4. To the heirs of the perpetrator, the exclusive right of execution shall be extended for the remainder of the period specified in paragraphs 1 to 3 of the present article. 5. Once the exclusive right has ceased to exist, the performance shall be transferred to the public domain and the rules of paragraph 2 of article 2 shall apply accordingly. 1282 of the present Code.
