Article 162: Consequences of non-compliance with the simple written form of a transaction

1. Failure to comply with the simple written form of the transaction deprives the parties of the right, in the event of a dispute, to rely on evidence in support of the transaction and its terms, but does not deprive them of the right to provide written evidence. 2. In cases expressly stated in the law or in the agreement of the parties, failure to comply with the simple written form of the transaction renders the transaction null and void. (Signed) N.M.
