Article 216. Non-owner ' s property rights

1. In addition to the right to own property, the right to life-long inherited ownership of land (art. 265); the right to permanent (indefinite) use of land (art. 268); easements (arts. 274,277); the right to own property (art. 294); and the right to manage property promptly (art. 296). 3. The transfer of ownership of property to another person is not a ground for terminating other property rights. 4. The property rights of a person who is not the owner shall be protected against infringement by any person in the manner provided for in article 305 of the present Code.
