Article 486. Payment of goods

1. The buyer is obliged to pay the goods immediately before or after the delivery of the goods by the seller, unless otherwise provided for in this Code, other law, other legal acts or contract 2. If the contract of sale does not provide for a time-limit for the payment of the goods, the buyer is obliged to pay the seller the price of the goods handed over in full. 3. If the buyer fails to pay the goods handed over in accordance with the contract of sale in a timely manner, the seller is entitled to claim payment of the goods and interest in accordance with article 395. 4. If the buyer, in breach of the contract of sale, refuses to accept and pay the goods, the seller has the choice to demand payment of the goods or to refuse to perform the floors. 5. In cases where the seller is required under the sales contract to deliver not only goods that the buyer has not paid for but also other goods to the buyer, the seller is entitled to suspend to transfer these goods until full payment is made for all goods previously transferred, unless otherwise provided by law, other legal acts or contract.
