Article 495. Provide the buyer with information on the goods
1. The seller is obliged to provide the buyer with the necessary and reliable information on the goods offered for sale, in accordance with the law, other legal acts and generally required by law. 2. The buyer has the right to inspect the goods prior to the conclusion of the retail sales contract and to request that the goods be submitted for inspection. 3. If the buyer is not in conflict with the rules adopted in the retail trade, it must be able to verify the characteristics of the goods or demonstrate the use of the goods, if this is possible because of the nature of the goods and is not contrary to the rules adopted in the retail trade. it is possible to obtain immediately at the place of sale the information on the goods referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 of this article, and it is entitled to claim from the seller compensation for losses caused by non-mains (art. 445, para. 4) and, if the contract is concluded, within a reasonable period of time, to refuse to perform the contract, to demand the return of the payment for the goods 4. A seller that failed to provide the buyer with the relevant information about the goods is liable for any defects in the goods that have arisen since the date of the contract. The buyer will prove that they arose from the lack of such information.
