Article 501. Contract of employment and sale

The contract may provide that, until the right of ownership of the goods is transferred to the buyer (article 491), the buyer is the employer(s) of the goods handed over to it (the contract of employment). Unless otherwise provided in the contract, the buyer becomes the owner of the goods from the time of payment of the goods.
