Article 516: Payments for goods supplied

1. The buyer shall pay for the goods supplied in accordance with the manner and form of payment provided for in the contract of delivery; if the agreement of the parties does not specify the manner and form of payment, the calculation shall be carried out by the carrier. 2. If the contract of delivery provides that payment of the goods shall be made by the consignee (payer) and the latter has unreasonably refused or failed to pay 3. Where the contract of delivery provides for the delivery of the goods in separate parts, the supplier is entitled to demand payment of the goods delivered from the buyer. The buyer pays the goods after the shipment (sampling) of the last part of the package, unless otherwise specified by the contract.
