Article 595. Risk of accidental loss of property transferred to permanent rent

1. The risk of accidental death or damage to property that has been donated free of charge is borne by the payer of the rent. The payer is entitled to claim the termination of the obligation to pay the rent or to change the terms of payment of the rent, respectively, for payment of a permanent rent.
