Article 823: Commercial credit

1. Contracts whose performance involves the transfer to another party of money or other items determined by descent may include the provision of credit, 2. A commercial credit is appropriate for the payment of goods, works or services (commercial credit), unless otherwise provided by law. but the rules of this chapter shall apply, unless otherwise provided in the rules on the contract from which the obligation arose and are not contrary to the substance of the obligation.
