Article 830. Enforcement of a monetary claim by the debtor to a financial agent

1. The debtor is required to pay the financial agent (factor) provided that it has received written notice of the assignment of the monetary claim from the client or the financial agent (factor) to the financial agent (factor) and the notice specify the monetary claim to be executed or the manner in which it is determined, as well as the person to whom payment is to be made. 2. At the debtor ' s request, the financial agent is required to provide the debtor within a reasonable time with proof that the monetary claim has indeed been assigned to the financial agent. The agent fails to perform this duty, the debtor is entitled to pay the customer on the demand in fulfilment of its obligation to the latter. a response to the rules of this article exempts the debtor from the corresponding obligation to the customer.
