Article 909: Inspection of goods at the time of receipt by the commodity warehouse and during storage

1. Unless otherwise provided for in the warehouse contract, the commodity warehouse at the time of the receipt of the goods is obliged, at its own expense, to inspect the goods and determine their quantity (number of units or that of the goods) 2. The warehouse shall be obliged to allow the owner during storage to inspect the goods or their samples if the storage is performed. The Panel recommends no award of compensation for loss of tangible property.
