Article 920: Items not required from pawnshop

1. If an item deposited in a pawnshop is not requested by a cleric within the time limit prescribed by the pawnshop agreement, the pawnshop shall be required to keep it for a period of two months, subject to payment, After the expiry of this period, the unclaimed item may be sold by a pawnshop in accordance with the procedure laid down in article 358, paragraph 5, of the present Code. The sum remaining is returned by the pawnshop to the cleric.
