Article 957. Insurance contract commenced

1. The insurance contract shall, unless it otherwise provides, take effect at the time of payment of the insurance premium or its first contribution. 2. Insurance arising from the insurance contract shall be subject to the insurance policy. In the case of insurance cases that occurred after the insurance contract entered into force, unless the contract provides for a different period of validity of the insurance.
