Article 981. Notification to the person concerned of actions in his or her interest

1. A person acting in a foreign interest shall, at the earliest opportunity, inform the person concerned and wait within a reasonable time for his or her approval or rejection to be granted. 2. It shall not be required to inform the citizen concerned of the actions in which he or she is interested, unless such expectation causes serious harm to the person concerned. The activities are carried out in his presence.
