Article 993: Responsibility for failure to perform a transaction entered into for the Comitant

1. The commissioner shall not be liable to the Commissioner for failure by a third party to perform a transaction with him at the expense of the commissioner unless the commissioner has failed to exercise due diligence in the selection process 2.
