Article 1492: Application for a trademark
1. An application for public registration of a trademark (the application for a trademark) shall be submitted to the federal intellectual property authority by a legal person or citizen. 2. An application for a trademark shall relate to a single trademark. 3. An application for a trademark shall contain: (1) a declaration of State registration of the symbol as: a trademark indicating the applicant ' s place of residence or place of residence; (2) an indication, including the applicant ' s request, of his or her three-dimensional model in electronic form; (3) a list Goods for which State registration of a trademark is requested and which are grouped according to the classes of the International Classification of Goods and Services for the registration of signs; 4) 4. An application for a trademark shall be signed by the applicant and, if applied through a patent attorney or other representative, by the applicant or his representative, by the applicant. 5. An application for a trademark shall be accompanied by a collective sign statute if the application is submitted on a collective sign (art. 1511, para. 1). Documents attached to the application shall be submitted in Russian or in another language. If these documents are submitted in another language, the application shall be accompanied by a translation into Russian. The musta language may be submitted by the applicant within two months of the date on which the Federal Intellectual Property Authority has notified the applicant of the need for an oral report. 7. The requirements for documents contained in and attached to the application for a trademark (application documents) are set by the Federal Executive Authority. 8. The date of application for a trademark shall be deemed to be the date of entry into the federal executive branch. Llectual ownership of the documents referred to in paragraphs 1 to 3 of this article and, if the documents in question are not submitted at the same time, the date of receipt of the last document.
