Article 1521: Effect of legal protection of geographical designation

1. The geographical indication shall be protected for the duration of the possibility to produce goods that meet the requirements of article 1516, paragraph 1, of the present Code. Article 1531 of the present Code defines the right to geographical designation and the manner in which this period is extended.
