Article 166: Disputable and null and void transactions
1. The transaction is invalid on the grounds established by law, by virtue of its recognition by the court (a contested transaction) or independently of such recognition (a nullity transaction). A disputed transaction may be declared invalid by the party to the transaction or by another person referred to in the law; the disputed transaction may be declared invalid if it violates rights or is protected by law.
