Article 263. Construction of land

1. The owner of the land may build, restructure or destroy buildings or permit other persons to build on it. 2. Except as otherwise provided by law or by contract (art. 260, para. 2). the owner of the land shall acquire ownership of the building, construction and other immovable property which he has built or created for himself on the property which he owns. Sloan construction built or built on land by its owner or other persons is defined by articles 222 of the present Code.
