Article 418. Termination of the obligation of death of a citizen
1. An obligation is terminated by the death of the debtor if performance cannot be performed without the debtor ' s personal involvement or the obligation is otherwise intrinsically linked to the debtor ' s identity. The claim is terminated by the death of the creditor if the performance is intended for the creditor personally or the obligation is otherwise intrinsically linked to the creditor’s identity.
