Article 427: Illustrative terms of the contract

1. A treaty may provide that its individual conditions are determined by the indicative conditions developed for the type of treaty concerned and published in the press. The contract does not refer to indicative conditions, such indicative conditions apply to the relations of the parties as customs if they meet the requirements laid down in article 5 and paragraph 5 of the Statute. 3. The indicative conditions may be set out in the form of a model treaty or other instrument containing these terms.
