Article 457. Time limit for performance of the obligation to deliver goods

1. The period of performance by the seller of the obligation to deliver the goods to the buyer shall be determined by the contract of sale and, if the contract does not permit the determination of that period, in accordance with the rules provided for therein. 2. The contract of sale shall be deemed to have been concluded with the condition of its execution by a fixed time limit if it is clear from the contract that, in the event of a breach of the time limit for its performance, The buyer loses interest in the contract; the seller is entitled to perform the contract before or after the expiry of the period specified therein only with the consent of the buyer.
