Article 637. Vehicle insurance

Except as otherwise provided in the contract for the rental of a vehicle with a crew, the obligation to insurance the vehicle and (or) to provide liability for damage that may be caused to the vehicle or in connection with its operation, is placed on the lessor where such insurance is compulsory by law or contract.
