Article 967 Reinsurance

1. The risk of payment of the insurance compensation or the insurance amount assumed by the insured person under the insurance agreement may be covered in whole or in part by another insurers (insured persons) 2. The rules to be applied to the reinsurance contract shall apply to the reinsurance contract as provided for in this chapter. If the reinsurance contract does not provide otherwise, the insurance policyr (main contract) who has entered into the reinsurance contract shall be deemed to be the latter until 3. In the event of reinsurance, the insured person remains liable to the insured person under the main insurance policy for the payment of the insurance compensation or the insurance amount. 4. Two or more reinsurance contracts may be concluded consecutively.
