Article 976: Retrust in the execution of an order

1. A solicitor shall be entitled to transfer the execution of an order to another person (substitute) only in the cases and under the conditions provided for in articles 187 of the present Code. 3. If a possible deputy attorney is named in the contract, the attorney is not responsible for his or her choice or for the conduct of his or her business. e No assignment to another person is provided for in the contract or provided for in it, but the deputy is not named, and the attorney is responsible for the choice of an alternate.
