Article 13.40: Failure to perform duties by the search engine operator

1. Failure by the operator of the search engine to comply with the obligation to connect information resources, information and telecommunications networks, to the federal public information system which are restricted in the territory of the Russian Federation in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on information, information technology and information protection, Structural fine for citizens of between 3,000 and 5,000 rubles; for officials of between 30,000 and 50,000 rubles; for legal persons of between 500,000 and 700 thousand pp 2. The repeated commission of an administrative offence provided for in paragraph 3 of this article shall be punishable by an administrative fine of three to seven hundred thousand roubles. At least 1,000 to 100,000 rubles; for officials between 100,000 and 500 thousand rubles; for legal persons between 1 million and 500 thousand rubles to 3 million rubles. 5. the obligation to inform the users of the said search engine when they request information on the information resource of a foreign legal person, a foreign organization a non-legal entity, a foreign national or a stateless person operating on the Internet information and telecommunications network in the territory of the Russian Federation in respect of which the authority responsible for monitoring and supervising communications, information technology and mass communications has decided to apply a pony measure A foreign national who has violated the legislation of the Russian Federation shall be liable to an administrative fine of between 30,000 and 100,000 roubles; 6. Failure by the operator of the search engine to comply with the obligations of the search engine has ceased. On the territory of the Russian Federation, on the request of the users of the said search engine, to issue information on the information resource of a foreign legal person or foreign organization, a legal person, a foreign citizen or a stateless person carrying out activities on the Internet information and telecommunications network in the territory of the Russian Federation, and by which the authority responsible for monitoring and supervising communications, information technology and mass communications has decided to impose a coercive measure, Administrative fine of between 30,000 and 100,000 rubles for citizens; of 100,000 to 500,000 rubles for officials; of 1 million heels for legal entities 7. The repeated commission of an administrative offence provided for in paragraph 5 of this article is punishable by an administrative fine against citizens.
